Thank you for exploring my books and journals.By the way..... this is Buddy Bird. He is a Java Finch. Back when we lived in Hawaii, m y husband found him out on the highway while he was out for a run and brought him home. Buddy Birds was so tiny that he barely had any fuzz on him and he would have been run over by cars. It was like having a baby all over again with feedinds every two hours. We intented to raise him and let him go free, but learned that hand-fed Java finches perish if released. He lived with us for many years, and with cats in the house, we had a few close calls! Thanks to friends, Buddy Birds is now living in a wonderful private bird sanctuary.
